Hyde5: Tkachuk, the star of this series, keeps Florida Panthers going with dramatic goal in overtime The Matthew Tkachuk trade keeps getting better and better with each night. His overtime goal in Wednesday’s 4-3 win against Boston in Game 5 didn’t just keep the Florida Panthers season going. It established him even more these playoffs as the face of this franchise moving forward. He’s not only a scorer but an edgy physical presence that has caught Boston’s full attention this series. On a team that doesn’t play as cute as last season but still doesn’t have enough grit, Tkachuk brings the sandpaper personality you hope rubs off on others. He has three goals and three assists this series to lead the team. He also leads in being an instigator against Boston. You know how the Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill was a star who played beyond hopes? Tkachuk is the same idea for the Panthers as they go for the big surprise against Boston.“We were supposed to get swept in this series, right?” he said after his game-winner sent this series bac...

Rules of the Road: Are tinted windows legal in California? SAN DIEGO (KSWB) -- Window tinting is popular among many drivers. But what's legal and what's not in California?"The purpose of having the window tint law is basically, you don't drive at night with your sunglasses on, and that's essentially what you're doing with 40% of your vision," California Highway Patrol Sgt. Brian Pennings told FOX 5 Wednesday.Pennings says tinted windows have been a factor in collisions due to drivers being unable to see out of their vehicles. Is a front license plate required in California? "It's a safety issue, and lawmakers in California have decided to keep this law on our books," Pennings added.Rear windowsDrivers can tint their rear windows as long as their vehicle has two side mirrors, not including the rearview mirror, Pennings said. Front windowsWhen it comes to front windows, California law states drivers must have 70% transparency, meaning they can have 30% tint, Pennings said. ‘Brake checking’ a tailgater: Is it legal in California?
