Stabbing outside Chase Bank in Berkeley hospitalizes man BERKELEY — A stabbing in front of a bank early Thursday hospitalized a man, and investigators were seeking help to find the suspect.Officers were called to the Chase Bank at 2390 Shattuck Ave. about 3:35 a.m. and found the man with numerous stab wounds, according to a police statement from spokesperson Officer Jessica Perry.Perry in a text said he was stabbed outside the building and went inside the bank to call 911. The emergency call came within 30 minutes of the stabbing, she said.The man, who police said was in his 50’s, went by ambulance to Highland Hospital in Oakland and was listed in stable condition, according to authorities. While responding to reports of a shooting in the area, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Man shot in his car by unknown suspect in Sunnyvale (KRON) -- A man remains in critical condition after he was shot in his car by an unknown suspect Tuesday night, according to the Sunnyvale Police Department. Around 10:39 p.m., officers responded to the report of gunshots and a collision in the area of Hawthorn and Arbutus avenues.
