The outage was a result of a vehicle crashing into a power pole near West Ohio Avenue and Richmond Parkway., PG&E confirmed to KRON4.

Wiener's office. Fox News overhauls primetime lineup “We’ve made good progress in this year’s budget, but the future of public transportation in the Bay Area is still under threat due to pandemic-related operational deficits that, without help, will lead to severe service cuts,” said Sen. Border Patrol Video of Killing Shows Native Man Had No Gun, Complied With Orders The facade of Raymond Mattia’s one-story home on the Tohono O’odham Nation, on the edge of Arizona’s southern border, is still riddled with bullet holes. The 58-year-old was killed in a hail of gunfire last month, after stepping outside to find nearly a dozen Border Patrol agents and at least one tribal police officer advancing on his property in the dark. Late last week, a tensely awaited medical examiner’s report ruled the case a homicide, finding that Mattia was shot nine times. Border Patrol body camera footage released at the same time confirmed that what the authorities thought was a gun was in fact Mattia’s cellphone. For Mattia’s family, more questions arose from the videos than answers, hardening their resolve to find accountability for the loss of a beloved father, brother, and uncle.“If they’re allowed to get away with this now, it’s not going to stop.”“We feel after watching the video that he was trying to comply the best he could,” Mattia’s niece, Yvonne Nevarez, told The...

Samuel Alito’s Wife Leased Land to an Oil and Gas Firm While the Justice Fought the EPA

Samuel Alito’s Wife Leased Land to an Oil and Gas Firm While the Justice Fought the EPA A year ago this month, Martha Ann Bomgardner Alito decided to see if a 160-acre plot of land in Grady County, Oklahoma, would produce. In a lease filed with the Grady County clerk, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito entered into an agreement with Citizen Energy III for revenue generated from oil and gas obtained from a plot of hard scrabble she inherited from her late father. It is one of thousands of oil and gas leases across Oklahoma, one of the top producers of fossil fuels in the United States.Last year, before the lease was activated, a line in Alito’s financial disclosures labeled “mineral interests” was valued between $100,001 and $250,000. If extraction on the plot proves fruitful, the lease dictates that Citizen Energy will pay Alito’s wife 3/16ths of all the money it makes from oil and gas sales. In the past, Alito has often recused himself from cases that pose potential conflicts of interest with his vast investment portfolio. Many of these recusals were born f...
