Lake George Region Restaurant Week returns next month, gathering restaurants together for a prix-five experience that shows guests what flavors they can find in their community. For $35, visitors to any participating restaurant will get a three-course, prix-fixe menu. TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Ahead of Memorial Day, Rensselaer County officials unveiled a new sign to recognize local medal of honor recipients. Lieutenant Colonel William O’Brien and Sergeant Thomas Baker both earned the Congressional Medal of honor for their service in World War II. A portion of Oakwood Avenue was designated in 2003 in their honor. The new sign is part of a continued effort to honor the county’s veterans. SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Schenectady Police Department is investigating a shooting in the area of 105 Edward Street. NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A body was found in the Mohawk River in Niskayuna on Thursday evening, said the Niskayuna Police Department. Police have not yet released the identity of the person. On May 25 around 6:30 p.m., police received a call about a possible body floating in the Mohawk River near Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - A carjacker struck a a St. Louis County police car during a chase Friday morning. Authorities arrested four people in the investigation. The St. Louis County Police Department reports no injuries from the carjacking or collision. However, one St. Louis County officer suffered a shoulder injury in a foot chase that followed the crash. The carjacking happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday in south St. Louis County around the 3100 block of Telegraph Road. ST. LOUIS - An investigation is underway after two people, one man and one woman, were fatally shot at a south St. Louis apartment complex Friday morning. The shooting happened around 8 a.m. Friday in the 4900 block of Lindenwood Avenue near the Northampton neighborhood. $400,000 in watches stolen in St. Louis jewelry heist When police arrived to the scene, both victims were found deceased at the scene from at least one gunshot.
